Yes. They should've stood in the road ta th etop of the HILL, at the point where a car applying its brakes would only cause further problems. What the hell is the matter with you? They did the right thing by riding it out, and trying to move out of the way. Or would you rather there were abandoned cars in the road to be hit by the next person unlucky enough to be unable to stop? You can clearly tell it's too icy to stop, especially at 1:17 when the drivers that did get out slide around.

The problem with the smart car is not the rigidity and crumple zones, its the mass, or lack thereof... you hit anything with substantially greater mass and the g-shock is going to be far greater in the Smartcar... that is what would kill you. The lack of large crumple zones to dissapate energy (relying more on the rigidity of the shell) makes matters worse. At least they point this out in the video.

That is a lie Benny, Radiohead is amazing man. I love DMB, however, DMB has not done what Radiohead has been able to accomplish. They are in different leagues and therefore should not even be compared. Two totally different sides.
