I'm in Connecticut. I was in my teens and I can remember Squeeze getting fair amount of airplay when they first hit over here on WNEW (especially) and other stations out of the city. Rock radio was stil quite good then. People like Squeeze, Nick Lowe, Elvis C, and Joe Jackson were no stranger to the airwaves. It was a different world. It surely fostered my love for music. I'm not sure what I'd be like if it(radio) hadn't been that way. Great, great band.

Ok, Beach's playing is very good technically, but his sound is nowhere near as intense or enchanting as Lynch's who has that speacial "feel" in it. And even though I like Winger very much, they never had as interesting guitar licks as Dokken did in Lynch era, not even close. Lynch wrote amazing songs in the 80's but sadly haven't redone himself.

They went on hiatus in 1997,but anounced rebirth in 2007. few concerts were held since then,and on November 22 there will be another one in Paris. hide (hee-day) is the deceased member. He was the lead guitarist,but he isn't replaced. They may recruit a new member,but no one will ever replace hide,for he was is and will remain the best :)

dude, cash didnt write this song he made a cover on this song nin wrote this to their album "the downward spiral" in 1994 and then Johnny cash made a (good) cover on this song, but still Cashs version is better this is so goddam angst, I think cashs version is more about saying goodbye to this world because I think he knew he was dying when he sang this song.

I dont think thats ever gonna change. I think whether you NIN's the most or Cash's the most comes down to whether you enjoy listening to a disharmonic chordstructure, or you enjoy the vastly more simpler version that Cash has made. I like both, but they are very different in many ways. I think Trent's version is best as a story, while Cash's more of an actual song.
