well you need to move the steering around depending on what your doing and where you are. best drifter are d1 dirfters from japan. every single drift aint the same.. even they are harsh with steering fi something like change of motion or momentum build up was too strong etc etc.. its not WHAT you do outside.. its how it looks outside.. what we see is the drift.. not the steering wheel

drifting occurs when the car is sliding, and not moving with tyres on full grip... sliding = drifting if you're the anal kind and always use the d1/drift bible/initial d terms, then consider the way the car "travels" in this video, it is moving around this corners with a maintained slide, which in other words, means it is drifting. but ds does have online to, dont forget that, the graphics are better, but ds is portable, so you can just go to your mates and play, mario kart wii has bikes, but so does ds, but you can do wheelies and tricks on wii, but its easier to powerslide on the ds, my opinion both 10/10 same with mario kart dd

I play both DS and Wii, but I have to admit, powersliding on DS is alot easier and faster..and u can snake. but on the Wii the powersliding you only get blue sparks, wich is easier than on the DS by wasting ur time on the red sparks.
