Kid Beyond does his own thing just like keller does, but I don't think you could compare them much except with ableton live. Keller uses the knowledge he has of beatboxing along with his wide array of instruments, and kid beyond uses just his extensive yet impressive knowledge of beatboxing loops. Personally I have never seen anyone like keller or anyone like kid beyond.

Yeah - because they're inmates. Actually, the rules against touching/sex exist because of the drama created. There's usually someone who gets jealous or goes crazy and it's just easier to have policies that are relatively strict. Also, there's a significant risk of HIV. I think the COs here just have hangups about these two though, as Beecher and Said routinely hug, as well as other inmates. Because Keller and Beecher are known to have a sexual relationship, they tend to get more grief.

i agree that it made for a great story, but too many bad things happened to Beecher and i just wanted to reach out to him and hold him!! The kidnapping of his kids was HORRIBLE, and when they mailed his son's hand, i swear i cried!!!!! I just felt like 'B' should not be hurt in any way(not anymore!!), by anybody at all! He went through so much, and i just don't think it was fair!!! Keller loved him back, but K could not be trusted!! It was pretty devastating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL - Wow, still hung up on season 2? haha - I think Keller went along with it, in some way, to convince Beecher to hate him - to stop loving him. You have to remember what Keller has done to other guys he's been interested in and his self-image is pretty horrible. So he went through with it, only to figure out that he's way too attached to Beecher to let him just go. Hence, the cycle of violence and abuse. Push him away, pull him back. It's devastating - and makes for a great story!

It's kind of difficult to put labels on either of them, as they've both been through a lot to get them to where they are in this scene. But they are in love with each other and, yes, they do have sex. The easiest way to label them both would probably be bisexual, but it's very complicated.

this is a little detail but... I love the way Beecher totally flinches when Keller touches the back of his head, but totally relaxes when he sees who it is. He's like an abused dog, overreacting to sudden movements. It's just a nice touch

We dined with a party of ten in Sept. 2006 and 2007. At our 2007 seating they forgot the promised birthday cake and 5 of the 9 dishes were the same as the previous year. When we emailed and asked them to vary the menu, Thomas Keller called us personally and said, "If you don't like what I serve, don't come." We cancelled and will now dine at Gary Danko's in S.F., a much better restaurant. French Laundry is SO not worth what they charge you.
