Niether did I, but I thought the Russian was awesome. The thing about it was the fact that all the mysteries in it were solved by the end of the story. I was expecting another Black Room.

Ive read odd thomas, forever odd, and brother odd, and i loved them all. It's great to see webisode of oddy's adventures. They should make odd thomas movies, or tv series. I loved seeing the white german shepard BOO, in this first webisode.

If anyone else read Odd Hours and Fear Nothing, What did you think about the books kinda tying in?
By: dahak8875. on 28 Jul 08, 23:06:25
Damn I love Odd Thomas it is the best book Koontz has ever written. Even better than the bad place.
By: Tardis. on 28 Jul 08, 19:32:51
The character of Odd Thomas is so well developed (physical description aside) that continuing the character in other forms beyond the books seems natural. This short really shows how well the character could fit into shorter stories and could make a great film or series. Beautifully done short film.
By: EGPcinematographer. on 28 Jul 08, 03:46:23
Yeah, Mr. Koontz was very pleased with Anthony Marks as Odd Thomas. He's very particular about how his novels are envisioned by others.
By: Tardis. on 27 Jul 08, 01:14:46
Fair enough and true. In the new "Odd Thomas" graphic novel Mr.Koontz states that Odd has never really had a solid 'look' but perhaps one day may as the series progresses towards it's end. I wonder - was this particular version of Odd closer in Koontz's eyes to what he envisions? Interesting.
By: EGPcinematographer. on 26 Jul 08, 19:55:30
We thought that way about Odd too, but Mr. Koontz said he was NOT thin. Afterall he's gotta hold his own in a fist fight as we see over and over. As for age, he's supposed to be 21. Hair: well let's not nitpick.
By: jhs2307. on 26 Jul 08, 01:37:47
actually that's pretty much exactly how i pictured him
By: RedSox6588. on 23 Jul 08, 01:15:03
ODD THOMAS ROCKS, i read these books, and i am 12!
By: Tardis. on 22 Jul 08, 18:43:49
This is sooo cool. Yup. I pictured Odd a bit younger, thinner and with longer, slightly shaggy brown hair. I wonder why? Was he ever given a detailed physical description in the books? Great character. He really seems to have come alive for many readers. Myself included.
By: CatalinaXHeartcore. on 21 Jul 08, 04:42:18
i agree. this is not how i picture oddie at all
By: leamornor. on 13 Jul 08, 03:32:45
I feel the same, I don't think a movie could live up to the image I have of all things 'odd thomas' in my head.
