I think you'd agree that creating a new classification system would require quite a bit of time, effort, and research. However, if one were to assume that the Genesis account were true, one could speculate that the 'family' classification would suffice. God may have created each 'kind' of animal; that is, He may have created a generic dog, from which all other dogs descended. In that view, one would not have to extend the modern family classification to humans, as we were created separately.

You need to quit acting like I've never seen the 'evidence'. I've completed many university science courses, each with straight A's, regurgitating this 'evidence' for them. And if by saying that species is a very precise term you mean that there are many species today, I think you need to understand that scientists, in order to make evidence for evolution, are eager to classify things as unique species. I just watched the interview - what Dawkins says, on being invited to speculate on a hypothetical alien designer, is that, if there was such a designer, its signature might be found in the cell. I had replied to this yesterday, but my comment isn't on here, so I'm not sure what happened. I don't think the comment I made about Dawkins was all that bad. In debates on Evolution and Creationism, he makes it clear when he is making fun of God and when he is talking about true science, as he views it. I've seen the video a few times and he is serious about the aliens idea - no joke. I'm not saying that he can't be sarcastic in other cases, but as I've seen it, he is being serious here.

This song was so hot. A complete departure from Kiss The Rain (which may have been what stopped her from becoming bigger). Hard to go from a popular tearjerker to a song with such raw, agressive sexuality and hold the audience. i think that because bryn has such a powerful voice, it sometimes doesnt sound so gentle in these kinds of song- especially in a live recording when that kind of thing is hard to control. he recorded this on his simple gifts cd and its got all the gentleness u could ever want...
