god oblivion is so lame . . . i am so upset with this game. the graphics are great, some of the weapons are cool and the horse is cool, but that's it. The quests are lame, the game is too easy, the voiceovers are lame, the story is blah, and the game is so self-conscious. It's constantly ruining the illusion. Poking in. The map is a giant square. It's for 8 year olds or something. Morrowind is a much better "game". Even with tons of mods, Oblivion can't be saved. I stopped about 25% through.

No... What has been written for virtual orchestra should only be played by a virtual orchestra. I'm sorry but most of this sounded awful. They even omitted the beginning to the Oblivion theme, most likely because it would require about 16 horn players. Also the choir was too small and the tuba too loud.

Enabling Antialiasing + HDR in the nVidia Driver makes Oblivion look soooooo good. I dont know why the transparency AA didnt work. But 8xQAA and 8xAF are some nice to look at settings. And together with the 8800GTX there are no hickups or glitches... all smooth rendering!

You should install Qarl's texture pack. Oblivion only uses 256 MB of Text memory on Large textures, Qarl's cranks it up a LOT and you only get about 5FPS hit on a 8800GTX, and it looks amazing.

ok i dotn have the expansion pack but i know (from exp) that an expansion pack is liek an add-on to the gameit isnt a whoel new game itself aso yes ur still playing oblivion but NotN and SI is installed so wahtever they had that added to the game is now accesable so now u can get Quests/Armor/Items/Wepons/cine(mayby) that wernt accesable when u just had reg old oblivion without exp so yes your playing exp.its there but u dont recognize it

For example my 8800GTS can have to HD TV's Attached. As for the controllers, you can attach a ps3/xbox360 and even wii controllers to the PC. Surround sound... Lawl, Most pcs come with a 5.1 surroundsound chipset onboard. I have a 7.1 surroundsound setup. And if u want a xbox live experiecne, theres Xfire, Steam, Windows Live.

With my oblivion character (he is level 45 breton mage) i have completed the main quest, all the guild quests (fighters, mages, theves, and dark brotherhood), beat the arena, all daedric quests,all side quests, bought knights of the nine, beat that and own everything for the places it comes with, shivering isles done and pretty much beat every thing there in under 300 days in game.

guys can any1 help me pls??? i have instaled this game on my PC, oblivion elder scrools then knights of the nine and on the end shivering isles, but when i enter the game ( i started playing it before 5 days) its still says elder scrools. only thing that is changed that's patch from 1.00 to 1.2. the point is that i dont know am i playing shivering isles/knights of the nine or just oblivion without expansions.if any1know answer pls reply me :) and sorry for my bad english its my second language
