It makes me very angry and annoyed to know that the winner of X-Factor is releasing a version of this for Christmas when we all know that they're just going to ruin this song. Jeff's version is the definitive version, and no one can ever top that. He may not have written it, but he made this song his own. People should go and send Jeff's version to No.1 instead. R.I.P Jeff

You, and everyone else, go check out the real cover by Jeff Buckley. It's not spelled correctly I know, but it's Jeff Buckely - Hallelujah. It's from AllLoveGoneBlack. In my opinion that's a better one from Jeff than this one. Also, check out Grace by Jeff. It has a cool riff =)

Jeff Buckley is, in my opinion a much better singer but Leonard Cohen has written some absolutley awesome songs. I personaly prefer Buckley just because of... well... i just like him :)
