it just sounds dissonant. a, c,d,e,f,e,d,b,g That's the start, if you want the music, ill have to record it, and scan it, and so on. That's what sounds the most consonant. I do have my reasoning, this particular flow of the melody follows the Am, G, F, E, chord progression, which is a steady drop in notes. It sounds nice and constant. Also, I don't want to shoot her, don't be an asshole.

There are as many arrangements of Greensleeves as there are musicians playing it. Maybe you believe that if her arrangement does not fit in with your idea of how it should be played she should be taken out and shot. She is obviously reading from a score so she is playing what is written on the page. There is no "right" way to play this tune. Unless of course you have a direct line to the composer. In which case please enlighten us as to who it is. Thereby we may never play it wrongly again.

im 13 and ive been playing the harp for awhile now, so ive heard a lot of music like this from recitals ive been to and harp solos i've heard, but this probably has to be the best greensleeves i've heard in a long time! really well done! hope i can be that good some day(:

what i mean, is she started the song on D, i dont have a perfect ear, but i believe that is where she started. once you start there you have a fixed progression, but she was switching back and fourth between the D progression, and the A progression. I might be wrong, I probably am, but one thing is for sure, it doesn't sound right.

oh for god's sake lol OBVIOUSLY they're not actually conjoined! any audience member going to a musical expecting to see real conjoined twins needs to get out more, heh. of course things happen like people trip and such, but that's live theatre for ya. plus, these people are incredibly talented professionals (it takes a LOT of unbelievable talent to get cast on broadway) so it's rather unlikely that they'll screw anything up. =]

I'm also a voice teacher,though not a specialist in this genre, anyway it's plenty belted for me. I find this performance more touching than the B'way originals, which can also be seen on youtube. Their slick professionalism seems too overdone for the innocence of the characters.

I am a voice teacher specializing in Contemporary Commercial Music. I have taught this song and have sung it. These girls have beautiful voices but I have to agree the person who suggested that more of it be belted. A high mix belt is more than appropriate for this song. Of course, one has to know how to do it safely.

You chose a beautiful setting for the Pachelbel. However I am surprised that nobody commented on the slow tempo. I know it's a matter of taste but for me it was too slow. It seemed to lack some of the excitement of the piece, although the pastoral feel was surely there.
