i really like dhis video of urs. becaures it is all about; 'Working-OUT'! which is it's good for u for body.. if you are a athers in training to be the best that is or not, besides u can use this work-out in... i am planning on takin up some mma and muay thai soon also. i would advise googling stretches for dummies or beginners or for those who are unflexible. i had the same problem as you i started off slow and gradually increased the range i could stretch.

You are going to learn your stretches from the school, as long as you don't join a crap one. You will learn to stretch best when someone can observe you, like your instructor. Swallow your pride and go in tight, your gonna get tripped out by the leg/arm pyramids anyways....we all did

When you strengthen your muscles they get short. If you havent been stretching them they will strong but very inflexible. Just do reaaly simple stretches and move on from there. Such as sitting on the floor straight legs and reach to touch your toes. Dont go to hard and tear your muscles though lol.

hi, can i ask your help! i am very athletic and play alot of sports but somehow i am VERY STIFF and UNFLEXIBLE... I cannot even do these stretches.. i am now planning on taking up muay thai. I plan to start joining a dojo in about 4-6 weeks. (due to injury) i need to dramatically improve my flexibility, can you advise me on a good daily routine? (maybe a website, if you know any) i want to be fully ready and prepared when i start training. Hope you can help many thanks! great vids =]
