good vid funny too. one question tho im getting a manual transmission car and for downshifting would i lower my speed first then downshift to 1st right away or go to 3rd then 2nd then 1st (assuming im in 4th)

It's the optimal shift area for practical driving and conserving gas. When I do drive a stick, I generally shift about 2,500 RPM and go easy on the gas.

good video I really much prefer stick shift to an automatic cause you feel more in control. there is definatly an art to driving a stick shift and it forces you to focus more on your driving

It depends in between 3 - 4 but if you wanna drive faster and more acceleration shift at like 7
