Kinda funny to hear kats talking about who used a certain break first, and who copied etc. What peeps need to understand is that back then (the 'Golden Age') many of the samples used came from compilations like the ultimate breaks and beats series. So many of the same samples were used by the artists of the time. Take 'Apache' which Nas used in 'Made you look'. There was a time when hip-hop was dominated by songs using that beat/break. I think I may have started the rumor that this album was a "parody" back when this album first came out. I assumed it was. I've read interviews with Keith though and he said he was not getting it on with them guys in the studio. They wanted to make radio hits and it wasn't working. So Keith brought in a few of his own songs to finish the album. This is one of those songs. At least that's how I understand it these days. Admit it though. Keith's rhyming is the shit in this song.
