This would help many people stay out of going back to jail. Most didnt even finished highschool they skiped school. Most of this inmates are smart, intelligent and even brilliant but they are misguided and went the wrong way, or the wrong people noticed their potencial and exploded it the wrong way [this happens a lot]. Reason why they need to be educated and focus them towards beign better humans.

Then why do most people on death row fight for it? Why fill out appeals and hope to get the life-sentence instead of death? It's hard to let go and a lot of inmates have families. I know a guy who is in for 11 years and he still doesn't want to die because so he can be there for his teenage daughter who sometimes visits him. Another guy's mom visits his son as often as she can, even though she is struggling with life herself. Her son woudln't think of dying, because it would hurt her so much.

The prisoner was blatantly acting agressivly and had to be restrained before he injured himself... how would people feel if a inmate at a prison or in this case in custody at a police station was injured and screamed police brutality was the cause? He was tasered and restrained for his own safety... I doubt it very much that the police would be able to find just cause in tasering a prisoner for refusing to fill out a booking form and the thought is quite frankly absurd.

my question is what limits there are to control and control of who for what reason. what if a non violent protester was arrested for what ever reason short of breaking a law short of commiting a violent act. what if this person decides use non violent resistance and refuses booking proceders no yelling or fighting but just makes it hard to be booked should they be tazered into into submision. should they be pepper sprayed should they be put into painful wrist locks? and if they have the will

The correct term is "Less than Lethal Force" meaning it is not INTENDED to be lethal. It is the citizens responsibility to know and understand this as well as their constitutional rights. That is why a warning is issued before the use of force thats why at this point When someone becomes non-compliant or combative they are literaly taking their lives into their own hands. Read the constitution, don't go by what you see on TV or by what a friend has told you.

This type of behavior can often insite others to do so as well and could lead into a riot situation very easily.When dealing with a suspect on the street or an inmate in a cell the officer must maintain control at all times in order to insure that he will be able to go home to his family at night. If the officer looses control he may very easily loose his life. It was in everybody's best intrest to defuse this situation before it escalated including that of the inmate.
