People - Union Nazis and lazy Americans are a big part of the failure of the Big 3. When Unions push to pay $30 an hour, full benefits, a pension plan, and paid vacation for INSTALLING TIRES that spells disaster. Solution: Build everything in Mexico close all USA auto plants, say F-you to Unions. It will cut assembly costs by 60%. LIVE BETTER DONT WORK UNION, instead get an education. All you Union workers did this to yourselves. Dont try to blame it on anyone else.

you GM haters need to go to hell!!! kxnipt, youre an asshole. the cimarron, common ended production in 1988?? it wasnt even that bad of a car, the only reason it didnt sell well was becuase it didnt fit the caddy large luxury car mold. the vega??? yeah it was junk but production ended in 1977??? forget about, you cant complain about a product that ENDED production over 30 years ago. i personally own 3 older chevrolet vehicles they are great.i have a 91, 89 and a 98.

By: silver1990chevy. on 14 Nov 08, 07:10:15
Unbelievable!!!! You have got to be the sorriest bunch of a-holes that one could come by. You stupid anti-Americans are the reason that the economy is where it is today. I really hope you all end up going through what the employees of GM,Ford, and Chrysler are going through. That is when I want you to repeat the comments that you all have made on the company that you work for. Don't cry when you are without food or shelter. I wish the worst upon you all!!!!!!
By: kxnipt. on 12 Nov 08, 04:01:19
GM is going out of business for one reason. They have built garbage for decades: Cimarron, Vega, Catera, Chevette... Build cars and trucks like an Accord, Camry, Tacoma and people will buy them. Goodbye GM.
By: jvrsy86. on 11 Nov 08, 04:47:32
i hope GM dies and toyota or hyundai buys it. that would be the sheeeeet!!! they have soooo many shiity cars. check out ma buick. it's the sheeet. ma hummer that gets 10MPG. fuel efficiency of the 1920''s

By: emforty2. on 22 Oct 08, 17:01:34
if gas is $2 today GM would still be selling HUMMERS its their fault they blame the workers or workers benefits or blame the Japanese its ur DUMB products is whats wrong don't blame the workers to Japan
By: scotplaya. on 21 Oct 08, 10:14:56
Hummer was one of GM's hugest mistake.
By: Thestupidamericans. on 11 Oct 08, 06:30:58
Its not the japanese or the govt that is responsible for GMs poor performance. Its GM themselves. Its quite simple. Your competition is kicking your ass. Toyota makes a much better vehicle at a substantially lower price.

And the killing of the EV1
By: shegax03. on 28 Sep 08, 06:40:48
I bet they are shooting themselves in the foot for discontinuing the EV1. This is a bailout period. They got greedy, ignored the selling trends in cars for the longest time. Because of their refusal to get into hybrid, cars (and killing their own line of EV1s in 1999) they slid and slid and slid. Suddenly they change at the last minute....please please give us money, we promise well make your non gass suzzling vehicles! Sorry man, they've had alot of time to change.

Nothing will beat toyota they make the best vehicles, although honda is catchin up
By: Type59. on 26 Sep 08, 17:33:52
Toyota and other makers judged the market accurately. Whera GM and American did not foresee the end of cheap oil. If they survive they better not start thinking short term.
By: jerkinp. on 26 Sep 08, 13:22:54
There is one person you can thank for all these economic woes President Bush. He spent so much tax payers money and was more concentrated about the events outside the U.S. There are U.S. presidents that most people would not remember because nothing happened during their rein and famous ones. But Bush has joined the category of the infamous. This what you get for electing a C+ student.
By: ubuibiok. on 26 Sep 08, 12:20:59
Bull...they fought the increase of fuel efficiency standards for years... Go get the money back from GM lobbyist that they hired and payed to fight the Government laws to make there products more competitive with the importers. If you follow there logic we all would be driving Model T's and denied the rights to buy Valvo's.

Places like this town will be the first to feel the crunch of the economy.
