But the advertisement above SUGGESTS that Barbados is the "the last authentic Caribbean experience" where that is completely untrue! That's not what he's saying. Commercialized and Supersized in that instance refers to the way it looks, not the way it's advertised. He's saying you won't go down there and find sky scrapers (as they showed) or that it won't look like so many countries which have corporated so much foreign influences that it looks more like the place you left (America etc) than a tropical island.

He says Barbados is unique because it offers a 'unique fusion of African and British cultures' - dont most islands in the caribbean have a fusion of African and British cultures. He also talks about Barbados being an island which 'hasnt been commercialised and supersized from even being caribbean anymore'- Barbados is one of the most built up and tourist orientated places in the caribbean, so what is he talking about.

Any place!! I think the best place to learn Spanish is Medellin. Or you can pick a small city like Manizales (with more that 7 Universities), Armenia or Pereira.
