This is just a Superconductor experiment. We did the exact same thing in my physics lab. A superconductor has no resistance. There is no such thing as a superconductor at room temp so you have to use liquid nitrogen to cool it to about 100 K or -173 C

He's not a stupid driver. If you look at 0:14, he was already on his brakes (his brake lights are ON) before he came out from underneath the bridge and approched the water. Despite what real stupid people would like to think, you can't stop a car moving 50 mph in 10 feet- it takes about 170+ feet (on a wet road). Further proof that this guy is actually real smart? He got the hell out of his car which is a sitting duck while it is stuck in the middle of the traffic lanes.
