ok i think i made a Mental picture of whats going on in the reaction. HHO gas means there is one atom of hydrogen interacting with OH, or the gas relies on 2 independent hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom close together in gas state. the atoms have extremely different properties in each configuration. this is amazing stuff.

What's the burn rate of Hydrogen(gas) vs Gasoline(liquid)? If you look up the info on HHO Generators/Cells you can see you don't produce more than your gas tank. You mix in the hydrogen with your fuel line, and in essence are burning a mixed fuel. These cells aren't made to produce only hydrogen to run your car, they just reduce the amount of gasoline being used while increasing efficiency to your engine.

Critics aren't willing to spend the money to do this. Critics aren't the ones even trying to find someone with the application installed in another's car. I've seen it, and plan on building my own. The alternator in your car is what keeps the flow of energy constantly recharging the battery, while having energy to spare. That spare energy is what electrolyzes the water to separate into the HHO to feed into your fuel line as a mixed fuel with the gasoline. Using less gas = more mpg.

actually its not a scam. the car dosent actually "run" on water. the water h20 is converted into hh0 ( 2 hydrogen and one oxygen) then you infuse the hydrogen into the fuel stream of the engine, thus powering the motor with a reduced amount of gasoline.

The excess electricity can just about cover the rest of the electronic, devices like AC's consume way more electricity and affect fuel economy. The HHO method is similar to the more effective Nitro systems. Again, I'm still learning about various energy sources, HHO included. While your arguments are clear, xdir, I would need some empirical data to rule out HHO as a viable option. The primary function of the alternator is to generate electricity to power the battery to in turn fire the spark plugs. You are already diverting electricity for basic secondary functions like lights, windshield wiper & air con. Adding a third layer of high energy consumption to power HHO would require more gas.

Ok, I can accept that more energy is required than is output in the HHO conversion. However, if I understand correctly, petroleum efficiency is incredibly low. Further, I understand that a car's alternator keeps the battery charged nearly 100% of the time, which suggests the excess can be used to facilitate the HHO process. In essence, it can bump the low efficiency percentage to at least some higher amount. If this is correct, then the introduction of HHO systems into vehicles is positive.

The energy required to create oil is immense, Oil is created from dead sea creatures who have decomposed over millions of years at incredible pressures. To create oil artificially would require more energy then that released from burning. Adding a HHO mix into the the fuel supply will probably increase the power output. But the electricity required to split the water molecules needs to come from somewhere. Taking it from the dynamo means more energy needed to turn the dynamo = more revs.

xdir, does this imply that the energy cost to refine oil into gas is greater than the energy produced by burning the gas? Foregive me, I'm just learning about this stuff. If the first law of thermdynamics states, "the total energy of a system and its surroundings remains constant", then input equals output. Why then can't HHO systems work in cars? The reason everyone uses DC is because it is cheap and dirty. To use AC it needs to be DC polarized to keep a DC potential between the plates. To produce a DC polarized AC signal you require the knowledge of AM and FM theory. Then you need to build the complex piece of equipment. I admit it's fun to play around with HHO using DC but it is kind of pointless because it does not get you anywhere. In a way it is kind of lazy.

Listen guys- This is not perpetual motion because it is using fuel. You are refining or extracting fuel much like gasoline. In an isolated case such as internal combustion engine you will see gas mileage increases because you are adding Hydrogen (Fuel) and using energy that the inefficient ICE is putting off by way of the alternator. In essence you are using energy that would otherwise be wasted to create the Hydrogen Fuel. Keep learning about this technology, it's old but very useful.

No, it works. There are just a lot of people posting videos of their own designs trying to make something that works more efficiently. There are tons of people that get increases in MPG with even cheap units, but it's better to have a good one and know what you're doing. Look around, it's for real guys.

if anyone is out for a try at this i suggest finding free information, doing a little research, take at trip to your local hardware store and alloy supplier and spend a few weekends in the garage yourself. until I or anyone has gone through all the possible creations and comes up empty handed will I choose to let this go. but until then I will remain open minded and give it the benefit of the doubt.

Took me a bit to find it but yes, very similar concept only taken to the next three levels beyond this. In this conceptual diagram no provision is made for electrical connection or fluid transfer. The gas outlet passages are also MUCH too small. When you see the completed design it's going to knock your socks off. Using 90% Isopropyl alcohol with your electrolyte mix will work very well as a "antifreeze" in the cell and bubbler. You'll have to determine the ratio for you particular system. I tested a 1:4 ratio in the freezer and it was fine.

Somebody else used plain plates, outside bolts, and a plastic tunnel block for electrolyte and voltage blocking. Maybe hhohuntsville? Using just a minimal tunnel block on outside-bolted dry cell was smaller than the above, I think. Tunnel block could use case clamps like above, then just a rectangular gasket under edge of block.

The only "critical" spec is that the stainless be non-magnetic. Anything 300 series will produce HHO. Different grades (304, 316, 316L, etc) and electrolyte coombinations affect efficiency. They do not generally degrade.

No offense, but I believe MrSalty placed his pipework with too much constriction giving a huge amount of vacuum space even with it at idle. ZFF is only constricting a little and is placed before the butterfly, so at idle, it shouldn't even add but the TINIEST bit of vacuum. A bubbler between the cell and the engine should also condense most of the water vapors before entering the engine, or maybe even multiple bubblers 'T'ed off to reduce the primary pressure of the tank itself.

A rubber washer that you use on drain plugs are like a couple bucks (or even free if you know the right mechanic). Drill a hole JUST big enough for the threads to go all the way in, then use the plugs on both sides as washers, a nut on the other side will keep that thing nice and tight, and leak-free without waiting another day for marine stuff to dry =)

per il maggiore rendimento devi anche fare altre modifiche, 1 ) un controllo per la regolazione mappatura del sensore dell'area con resistenze lineari. 2) un tubo di ottone ho altro fatto a U dove fai passare il diesel, lo metti vicino all'inizio dei tubi di scarico della marmitta in modo da riscaldare il diesel e mandarlo già a temperatura alta, brucia meglio. 3 ) devi mandare il gas anche nel tubo dell alimentazione diesel, non collegare a tubo che va al vacuum al sistema frenante.

No. The added convection velocity of a tall cell stack permits much more efficient heat exchange with the outer walls of the tank. On a 45 minute commute to work the outer walls are only just warm to the touch. Don't have a digital thermometer in there but I know it's way less than 70 C.

I calculated that you are producing about 31 liters per hour (LPH). If you were using 135W, that will make 135/31 = 4.36W/LPH. If you were 100% efficient, that would only be 2.16W/LPH... so you are about 50% Faraday efficient at the moment. Mostly they never get more than 80%. So you should get down to 85W for 31 LPH or get about 50 LPH for 135W of power. That will maybe be the best that can be done. Excess amount of power will only produce heat and no gas. Regards.

Use an old Techumsa. They have points under the flywheel, you can retard the timing. Or use a Kohler motor. They run the points off the camshaft. No wasted spark. For Briggs, look at gokarting catalogs. Find an advance key and put it in backwards. That will retard the timing as well. Your self conscience too. Get over it. Don't explain yourself. Fuk them.

Zero: Most all the major conversion work is done by selecting a small engine that was designed with a pto shaft (snow blowers and rotto tilers), this shaft is just a cam shaft extension with a pulley on it. Just remove the beaker lobe, points, or pickup from under the flywheel and move it to this pto shaft, the mag can stay on the flywheel, then make some sort of cover. WaLa the second or waste spark is gone.

In the early 1900's while designing these small engines, manufactures didn't care or even know about pollution, timing off the crank was just simpler to do and the second spark was of no concern with gasoline. Zero, Did you check to see at what degree of rotation the intake valve starts to open? Some manufactures setup the cam to start opening intake the valve a few degrees ATDC to draw a slight vacuum in the cylinder to facilitate a higher velocity air flow over the venturi in the carb. By doing this they can use smaller carb bores and jets. This is done to achieve better fuel economy. If this the case on your motor, you shouldn't need to worry about the waste spark

Everyone needs to learn about hydrocell technology. Water can be turned in to HHO gas and used to fuel our cars, homes, business and everything else that requires electricity. It is called electrolysis and it done by passing DC current through water and creates hydrogen bubbles that are combustable. I have built a hydrocell and am installing it in my car. I have so far only made a torch out of it but I have seen enough evidence to say that this technology is real and can work.

You answered your own question. HHO is just water that has a bit of a twang to it to make it different than water, but it's very unstable. You heat it up it and it burns into water. You dont see it anywhere near the flame obviously because it's evaporated. The problem that makes this technology is that it still requires you to burn the hell out of fossil fuels in order to create the electricity(all be it cheaper becuase of the price of coal)... it's just cleaner for the work environment.

Anyway, why can't we built a tank that storage the hho gas that can run about 3 hours on an engine and then swap it when it is running out? wow, how many plates r u using on the cell, i wanna see what 1.2 liters per minute looks when it bubbles!! that would be sick if you had a video of it producing 1.2 LPM. I dont think a lotta people have seen such an advanced cell at work, that vid where you measure it n show 1.2lpm would get a lotta views too!
