All of you talking shit about the GT-R are retarded. The 599 is a $300,000+ car and the GT-R is $80,000. Obviously a $300k car built purely for speed should win, so why are you surprised? The GT-R is without a doubt a much better deal though. You can get a car that competes with the high end supercars costing 3x the price for only $80,000. Please, think before you post.

everybody has to remember because i hate repeating myself over and over again. EACH GTR R35 ENGINE IS MADE DIFFERENT AND HAS DIFFERENT CHARACTERISTICS. One feels numb like this one, the other feel very alive and scary like the one he drove in mount and track fuji and others has both characteristics. but one thing is clear about all gtr suspension, they are neck brakers REALLY! you have to train you neck muscle how to withstand the G force from the awsome GTR Nissan corning handle....

Porsche weight distibution is not the problem but were the engine is located is bad as, engine's weight a lot, most car maker try to keep big component as close as possible to the midle of the car to get better weight distribution, in a corner the Porsche weight shift, the further away the weight is from the midle the harder the weight shift and that make it less stable. But still can kep up with gtr with that kind of dis adventage shows Porsche technology is more advence then GTR.

I'm really sorry, but it's you who is mistaken. A micra does not have a pillar that splits the front side windows. And a micra K11 does also not have separate indicator lights at the front, they are integrated. A micra K10 again has bigger front lights than the nova. And it too doesn't have a pillar in the side window. No micra has a pillar in the side window. I can go on with the details if you want to. Hello the reason why Nissan didnt do this OEM , is 2 fold ,1 they dont own the patent rights to make such rotational hinges,2 LSD is a niche market thats still STRONG as ever even after its years on the market. PS Look at Audi AB , the manufatures of the Lamborghini.word was that they got the contract from them for the Gallardo, since Lamborghini them selves realized they make a stretigic errror when they choose not to add Vertical lifting doors to its entry Level Gallardo...but what do i know

Nissan didn't do this from the factory for the same reason that they don't for a number of performance *and* aesthetic mods: 1) It would add to the cost of the car. This is why we have a thriving automotive aftermarket. 2) It is ultimately up to the individual to mod the car as *they* see fit based on their preferences. "Worth" is in they eye of the beholder...

Here's my 2p's worth. V6vsV8 Corvette - Engine(s) 6.2 L (378.3 cu in) LS9 V8 supercharged GTR - 3.5 L Twin Turbo V6 Hmmmmm (rubs chin) the corvette has pretty much double the displacement and still only just wins. Now lets put a V8 in the GTR (if it fits) so it's completely valid comparison. Engine specs vs performance speaks for itself no need to go into this futher. I'll let people make their own decisions.

Since when was the GT-R almost 2 sec faster than the ZR1 at Top Gears track, last I checked 1:19.7 is less than a sec faster vs a 1:20.4 coupled with the fact that the ZR1 and R8 V10 both ran wet/damp laps while the GT-R ran a complete dry one its not saying much for it. As far as this video goes complete waste of two awesome cars cause with all that power I bet the GT-R with its AWD under and oversteers like a bitch and the ZR1 ha just makes its more of a wild/tail happy animal drifters dream

Man the supra and 3000gt are kinda dissapointing both have 320 hp and heaps of torque, yet lost out to the 300zx with less power why coz the z has NISSAN POWEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!! nissan doesnt need so much power, as their smart to put most of what the engine has on to the ground, ie 350z, 370z and GTR

Well maybe they are using their "F1 technology".I mean it never helped them in F1 apparently so maybe they can use it to make a way too expensive supercar which has to base its interesting facts on stuff like weaving carbon fiber. They have already admitted it probably wont out-do the GT-R even at the 'Ring. The thing looks chessy, video game derived and doesn't have the badge to warrant the asking price. If that thing ditched the tech and made itself $150,000 we might have something then.

Exactly that's what's scary because Honda makes more engines then ANY other company in the world. Their type R and VTEC engines are precision engine, the tolerance in building these thing is unimaginable. Because of the eco people they already have to cancel a V10 NSX replacement. The last NSX-R only had a V6 and 280hp but lap the nurburgring in 7:50 on par with TODAYS V8 & V10 supercar....can you imagine with a V10 NSX-R can do?

No it's not a come back it's a technical show case of their technology. Toyota gone to the end of the worlds to make the LFA they made one of only two special carbon mill to get the weave extremely thin and strong on the...B pillar...a lot of effort for a B pillar if u ask me. That's why they wont make any money on the car, but it rather will be the base on what we can expect to come because they aren't going to throw away all that experience they learn are they?
